The First Thing Anyone Sees
An entry door sets the tone for the whole front of the house, and it is one of the few upgrades that improves how a home looks, feels, and locks all at once. We install fiberglass, steel, and wood doors from every major manufacturer.

- Double doors, and storm doors over an existing entry
- Weatherstripping and thresholds that actually seal
- Deadbolts and hardware fitted and aligned properly

Door Materials
Fiberglass, Steel or Wood
Most of the price difference between two entry doors that look alike comes down to what the slab is made of. All three are worth installing on the right house, and because we are not selling one line we have no reason to steer you.
- Fiberglass: Does not rot, rust, or swell with the seasons, and can be molded to read as wood grain. The usual answer for a door that takes direct afternoon sun
- Steel: The least expensive of the three and the hardest to force. Dents do not come back out, so it is at its best under a covered entry
- Wood: The only one that can be sanded and refinished to any color later, and the one that shows real joinery. It wants an overhang or a porch to stay that way
Whichever you pick, the part that decides whether it still seals in five years is the install: the frame set plumb, the jamb shimmed where the hinges land, and the threshold flashed so water leaves.

Sliding and French Doors to the Backyard
Patio doors take more abuse than any other opening in the house. They are large, they move, and they face the weather. A door that sticks, drags, or leaks air is usually a door that was installed out of level. We install sliding, French, and multi-panel doors and we take the time to set them right.
Why Installation Matters HereA patio door is heavy and it has to stay square for years while the ground under a North Texas slab moves with the seasons. We shim and fasten to the manufacturer’s spec, flash the sill so water goes out instead of in, and adjust the rollers before we leave so it glides with one hand.
