The Styles We Install
Because we buy from every major manufacturer rather than sell for one, the style is a decision about your house and not about what a rep has in the truck. These are the shapes and operations we fit most often across the metroplex.
- Double-Hung & Single-Hung: The traditional vertical sash. On a double-hung both sashes move and tilt in, so second-story glass can be cleaned from inside the room
- Casement & Awning: Cranked units that swing out and seal against a gasket when they close, which makes them the strongest performers on an exposed, wind-driven wall
- Sliding: Horizontal sashes for openings wider than they are tall, common on back walls, additions and bedrooms that need an egress opening
- Picture: Fixed glass with no rail through the middle. The most glass and the least air leakage for the money, and often paired with operable units on either side
- Bay & Bow: Projected units that push out past the wall to add light and a shelf of floor space
- Arched & Radius-Top: Curves cut to the opening you already have, so a brick arch never has to be touched
